Mental Toughness is a personality trait that determines your ability to perform consistently under pressure and stress. It is closely related to qualities such as character, resilience, grit, and perseverance. Developing the Mental toughness 4 C’s can improve your performance in every area of life.
In this insightful program, our Mental Toughness accredited practitioner will take you on a high energy journey of self-awareness. Learn how you can develop mental toughness and discover the benefits of doing so. Build your ability to stay confident and prevail even when you are up against it.
Challenge– seeing a challenge as an opportunity and “getting comfortable with being uncomfortable.
Confidence– having high levels of self-belief and confidence in interpersonal interactions.
Commitment – goal setting and being able to stick to tasks
Control – self-esteem, being comfortable in your own skin and managing emotions.
Option to include the MTQ plus or MTQ48 online assessment.
This takes no longer than 8-10 minutes to measure Mental Toughness. MTQ48 measures the four components of Mental Toughness identified by Clough and Strycharzyk, the 4 C’s of Control, Commitment, Challenge, and Confidence and the MTQ Plus is a full assessment.
Time frame 3hrs for in-person with a report, 2hrs with a self-assessment on the day and for virtual training.
Our Accredited Mental Toughness Practitioners have completed accreditation with Mental Toughness Partners or Positivity Institute.
The assessment is produced by AQR International and is a high quality online psychometric measure.
Professor Peter Clough, Professor of Applied Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University and a pioneer on mental toughness, has identified that mental toughness consists of four components, the 4 C’s of Control, Commitment, Challenge and Confidence.
Mental toughness is closely related to GRIT.
Angela Duckworth is renowned for her research which shows anyone striving to succeed from business people, students, educators, and athletes— outstanding achievement is not talent but a special blend of passion and persistence she calls “grit.”
Angela has found that grit is the hallmark of high achievers in every domain for a singularly important goal. She has also found scientific evidence that grit can grow.
Mental toughness is built through small wins. It’s the choices that we make daily that build our “mental toughness muscle.” It’s your physical actions that prove your mental fortitude.
We will happily tailor it to suit your business objectives and for a full day, this works well with Productivity with PUNCH, Mindfulness for Focus and Clarity or Thriving through Change.
Interesting well worth it. Enjoyed the topic and the concept of the circle of influence and circle of concern.
