Stress Less : Freedom from Frazzle
Stress is the enemy of productivity, health and well being. Â
The last two years have been pretty intense for all, and our poor brains are a little frazzled. ( and for some, a lot frazzled)
This power hour was developed for National Safework Month and was such a hit we have added it to our core virtual offer.
- We start by looking at the brain as a predictive organ and how travelling through a pandemic has added to our mental load and brain fatigue.
- We look at evidence-backed strategies to help our brains focus and eliminate decision fatigue.
- We discover a simple yet effective triage strategy to deal with daily stress.
- Participants learn a three-option approach for addressing any stressful situation.
- We focus on leaning into a new chapter – and identifying what we need to stop-start and continue.
We consistently update Australian statistics of how we are travelling and focus on personal learning and what we can do to create a positive difference in the next chapter.
This is an essential workshop for 2022 for all industries and will support practical tools for work and life
Why is it important for all
2020 Black dog institute: People with pre-existing anxiety disorders, existing health anxiety (those who worry excessively about having or contracting illnesses), and other mental health disorders are at risk of experiencing higher anxiety levels during the COVID-19 outbreak.
May 2020 Unicef Australia: The proportion of young people in Australia (aged 13 to 17 years) who feel their ability to cope well with life has almost halved from 81% to 45% since before the national COVID-19 pandemic response. Almost three quarters (70%) of young people in Australia said the pandemic response had negatively impacted their social connectedness, and six in ten (61%) their day-to-day life.
Melbourne University Rethink Australia 2020 Report Of the close to 5 million parents with children under 18 in Australia, 24 per cent have reported high rates of mental distress since the start of the pandemic. This has persisted well beyond the end of local lockdowns.

Who is This For?
Every organisation, leader or team member. Suitable for executive teams, leaders, work teams, public sector and all of staff development days. Interactive and energetic in-person delivery that supports positive culture and connection. We also deliver this virtually – with you all in a room or in different locations.
We happily tailor if there is specific challenges or changes within the business.
Team Flow on Benefits
Why invest in a team workshop? What does welcome to the team mean in your organisation?
We often hear that new team members ‘hit the ground running’ and this is primarily due to the fast-paced nature of our organisations. One client mentioned, there is just less ‘chum factor’ – this is often presented to us as a lack of connection in teams or across departments. We still often hear the term ‘silos’. With technological advances, we communicate digitally and have less direct face to face opportunities to really connect. This session works brilliantly with one team, or you can have many in the room, and we will mix them all and have time with their own team.
