Australia Wide + Virtual Delivery

Health and care teams are stretched. Staffing is tight, demand is high and change keeps coming. We don't pretend otherwise.
This session asks a different question: within all of this, what can we do to build positive, connected workplaces and lift the level of joy at work? The answer is rarely one big fix. It's small, everyday actions people can own together, starting the same day.
The Joy at Work study (Harding et al., 2026) asked Australian health clinicians what makes a good day at work. Their answers came down to six themes.

“Plenty of experience, able to compare with results for other groups. Happy to explore what was expressed.”
Every participant completes the free VIA Character Strengths survey before the day. We map the whole room's strengths into a team profile, so people see what they share and what makes each person different.
Using more of your top strengths at work is linked to work feeling like a calling, not just a job.

We compile every idea from the theme boards into a short Small Shifts, Big Impact summary for your leaders. It shows what your people said makes a good day, and the practical actions the team can own.

20 to 300+ participants. Delivered in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Australia-wide, with virtual delivery available.

A research-led half day for health, aged care and community teams. It combines a new Australian study on joy at work with each person's VIA Character Strengths, and turns the room's ideas into practical actions.

No. We name the pressure openly. The session focuses on what teams can still influence together, and passes system issues to leaders in a clear, constructive way.
Each person completes the free VIA Character Strengths survey, which takes about 15 minutes. We use the results to build your team strengths profile.
