Our signature strengths underpin personal flourishing and the PERMA framework. They are the path to increased positive emotions, the link to personal and professional engagement and are at the heart of building authentic relationships. When we use our strengths positively at work, in our community or within our families we feel authentic, enagaged and they are the foundation of a life of purpose. They help us to bring meaning to our world.

They are most often at play when we have our greatest achievements and success and fuel our intrinsic motivation.

We also visit the shadow side of our strengths and how being mindful of this and utilising our strengths at optimum can support us to be at our best professionally and personally.

Our stengths support us through stressful periods of our work and life and are also core to resilience.

We can also build our strengths - to be more the person we wish to be.

When Dr Martin Seligman and the late Christopher Peterson sought to discover and classify commonly held strengths and virtues across cultures, they created a classification of core virtues that humans morally value no matter their cultural, racial, and religious differences.
