Our lives have a myriad of challenges, be it family and parenting dramas, changes in the workplace, social occasions, professional expectations or personal phobias. We all deal with adversity differently.

For many of us, it is all too easy to stop, stagnate, avoid, procrastinate or find ourselves repeating behaviors rather than just dealing with things and then putting it behind us. When we encounter difficult situations, taking appropriate action allows us to keep moving forward. Through building resilience, we can accept, survive and prosper with whatever situation we encounter.

Resilience is a skill that can be learned irrespective of differences in culture, society and family systems. There is no simple fix or one size fits all method. Discover simple yet effective research-based strategies and techniques that utilize our attitude, allow us to develop and build resilience.

Career and life resilience provide all of us an opportunity to go beyond our limits. Using your resilience effectively and fully offers a practical framework for producing ways to swerve around life and career sandbars.

This workshop will support:

- Discover the research into the impact of positive emotions on our thinking
- Discuss the impact of our negativity bias
- Self-edit habitual emotional vocabulary and create awareness of the importance of growing our emotional vocabulary
- Strategies to use emotional energy wisely - appreciate emotions are telling us something
- Build strategies to support holistic resilience in four key domains: Body, Brain, Spirituality (or environment) and heart domains
- Identify and apply strategies to support a curious mindset to support successful transition through uncertainty
- Think like a scientist; Discover tips to support the perfectionist
